Samira Aliyeva, Honored cultural worker, Doctor of Philosophy in art studies, associate professor
Samira Aliyeva graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts with a bachelor's degree in "Mass events director" (2002), and with a master's diploma with honours in "Cultural Studies" (2004). In 1998-2001, she worked as a leader of the Saz group in the Culture Palace, in 2001-2003 as an assistant at the Baku Humanitarian College, and since 2005 as a teacher and head teacher at ASUCA. She has been working as an associate professor since 2017. Compiler of several scientific articles, conference materials and educational programs such as "Specialization", "History and theory of Ashug art", "Teaching practice", "Modern directions of vocal art (Ashug art)", "Specialization", textbook "Dastan performance as one actor's theatre". Since 1993, she has been a member of the Ashug Union of Azerbaijan. She is the laureate of many competitions and festival. In 2013, she received the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in art studies, in 2014 she was awarded the title of Honoured Culture Worker, in 2014-2017 received the President's award, in 2019 received the diploma of an associate professor. Since 2022, Samira Aliyeva has been working as the head of the Chair of Ashug Art at the Faculty of Music of ASUCA.
