Formerly known as the Faculty of Cultural and Educational Work, currently the Faculty of Culturology has been operating since 1959. In 1995 The Faculty of Cultural and Educational Work was renamed the Faculty of Cultural Studies. Students are trained to become specialists who can then work in different areas such as theatre, concert hall, museum, library, etc.
Some of the majors within the faculty are: Museum Studies, Archive Work and Monument Preservation; Management; International Relations; Cultural Studies.
The faculty employs up to 50 professors and teachers.
