HEAD OF THE CHAIR OF SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITY
Mubariz Suleymanli was born on February 15, 1962 in Ghazli, Sabirabad district. In 1989, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art Institute with an honors diploma majoring in "Director of Mass Performances". He has been working at ASUCA since 1989. He became a Doctor of Philosophy in art studies in 2000 (on the topic "M.A. Rasulzadeh and Azerbaijani culture"). In 2014, he became a Doctor of Philosophy Sciences (on the subject "Cultural thought of Azerbaijan at the beginning of the 20th century"). He was awarded the title of professor in 2016. Since 2020, he has been the head of the chair of "Social and cultural activity".
2000-2008, he was the chairman of the "Student Scientific Society" of ASUCA and the editor-in-chief of the "World of Culture" magazine, which is included in the periodic scientific publications of AAK. He is a member of the board of directors of the "Simurg" Azerbaijan Culture Association”, the deputy chairman of the Society of Culturologists and the deputy editor-in-chief of the "Simurg" cultural magazine. He is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journals "Sociology", "Sociology Yearbook," and "Ege University Turkish World Review Magazine," published in Turkey. 2003, he has been a member of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan.
Mubariz Suleymanli is the author of 5 monographs, 5 textbooks, 3 methodical aids and recommendations, and 10 subject programs prepared for bachelor's and master's degrees. Author of the monographs "Ahmed Agaoglu's first scientific work: Beliefs in the Maze in Shia religion", "Scientific-critical approaches to Ahmed Agaoglu's work "Women according to Islam and Islam", "From the history of cultural thought of Azerbaijan" and "Problems of cultural heritage research", Ahmet He is the author of the foreword of Agaoglu's book "Memories of Mutereke and Exile". Also, he is the author of the textbooks "Management of the Socio-Cultural Field" and "Cultural Heritage", co-author of the textbooks "Museology", "Applied Culturology" and "Basics of Tourism". More than 100 scientific articles were published in national and international scientific publications, including global summarizing and indexing systems (databases), and the text of his scientific reports was printed in the materials of more than 30 national and international conferences and symposia.
