The "Instructions establish the activity of the general department on conducting clerical work in state authorities, departments, organizations and enterprises" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Statute of ASUCA, the orders of the Ministry of Education and the head of the university.
Major Department Functions:
- accurately and continiously organize clerical work;
- study the documents submitted to the university, check the content of documents before sending them to the leadership for approval;
- accept and register the documents received from the state authorities and administrative bodies, higher education institutions, public organizations, and legal entities and individuals;
- issue rector's orders and instructions and send them to the relevant departments;
- seal the documents signed by the administration;
- monitor the execution of documents;
- issue reference letters and other documents for the placement of archival documents, applications received for archival documents on the basis of citizens' appeals;
- manage clerical work in all structural divisions of the university in order to systematically improving it;
- protecting the confidentiality of university documents.
