In September 2022, a Division of Student Affairs was established under the Department of Education as a part of strategy of integration into the European education system. The division performs the following tasks:
To ensure the presence of the necessary documents in the personal files of undergraduate and graduate students of the university, their accounting and storage in the department until they are archived.
To register orders for academic leave, transfer, expulsion, change of surname, name in the "Student-Graduate" State Digital Information System (TMMS).
To collect applications, prepare orders and register students who transferred to another major within ASUCA, transferred from ASUCA to another university, expelled and reinstated students, and students returning from academic leave on digital portal ATIS.
Registration of students (undergraduate and graduate).
To prepare responses to official letters from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
To keep copies of the orders regarding students in their personal files and to ensure the implementation of other requirements arising from the order.
To keep a list of students who received an unsatisfactory mark in the exam (academic debt), who were not admitted to the exam, who did not participate in exams for good reason, to prepare letters about the payment of academic debts of students in other universities.
To check basic and additional scholarships received from faculties for the semester and to prepare orders on them.
To prepare orders for presentations and other documents submitted to the Department of Education.
To monitor class schedules by faculties and to collect class schedules for special groups.
Currently, the division is headed by Shalala Akhmedova.
