Specialized Dissertation Council
From the first of December, 1999 the Specialized Council operates for thesis defence in Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art. By the instructions of Higher Attestation Commission under President, the Specialized Council of ASUCA possesses an authority in expanded structure also to conduct doctoral defences. A chairman of the Specialized Defence Council in ASUCA is Professor Timuchin Afenfiyev (www.Timuchin.site.ws)

As a rule, the Specialized Dissertation Council in ASUCA organizes and conducts defences of doctoral and Ph. D thesis for the following specializations:

--17.00.08- Culture Theory
--24.00.01- History and theory of culture
During the last time, 10 Ph. D. and 3 doctoral theses were defended at the Specialized Council in ASUCA
